Mt Ohkawa-iriyama / 大川入山登山

 We climbed Mt.Ohkawa-iriyama in Nagano prefecture. This mountain is 1,907meters high. And it is located in the western part of the Japanese Southern Alps. So we were expecting a nice view of the Southern Alps.

先日は大川入山に登ってきました。南アルプスの西側にある山なので、景色には期待していましたが、雨上がりだったからどうでしょう？

About one hour later, we arrived at Yoko-dake. It is 1,574meters high, and trees surround here. So there's no view.
1時間ほど歩くと横岳についたので軽く小休止。木に囲まれて眺望は全くありません。

After 15 minutes' walk, we could see the top of Ohkawa-iriyama. "We still have a little bit more to go!"
15分程歩くと大川入山の頂上がみえました。まだ少しありますね。

We kept climbing for another one hour, we looked at this sign that says about 2km to the top.
さらに1時間程登ると、残り２kmの看板がでてきました。

And about one hour later, we finally arrived at the top of Ohkawa-iriyama. Well, the weather wasn't good for enjoying the view, but we felt great. However, annoying insects are everywhere, so I wouldn't recommend this period.
さらに約1時間いくと大川入山の頂上に着きました。う〜ん、景色を楽しめる天気ではありませんでしたが、気分は良かったです。ただし虫がそこら中にいるので、今の時期はおすすめしません。

Inuyama Cycle Meeting / 犬山サイクルミーティング

We participated in a cycle race in Inuyama city, Aichi pref. This is a bimonthly race held in The Little World Museum of Man. It has a 2.5km round road and there are many reconstructed houses coming from all over the world. 
This race has three category, beginner(7.5km), intermediate(17.5km), advanced(37.5km). For us it was the first time, so we took part in a beginner's category.

The green helmets are the advanced riders.

Blue is the intermediate level.

Starting time at 7am. If you are in beginner's race, you will be able to finish after 20 mins. So you can go anywhere after this race in your holiday. My acquaintance participates before going to work. See the next race in August!

先日、犬山サイクルミーティングというものに参加してきました。犬山リトルワールド内で２ヶ月ごとに開催されているレースで、３つのカテゴリーがあり、初めてだったのでビギナークラスに参加しました。
朝７時にスタートなので、すぐ終わるしその後どこにでも行けます。知り合いは会社に行く前に参加しています。今度は８月やね〜！
